Why We Exist

Mission

It is the mission of the Atlanta Academy of Institutional Pharmacy (AAIP) to provide an inclusive approach to continuing pharmacy education (CPE) programs for pharmacists and technicians to facilitate pharmacy practice licensure requirements by offering knowledge-based CPE programs and by incorporating active learning strategies to enhance learners’ competence relevant to pharmacy practice with the goal of achieving a post-activity learning assessment score of 80% or greater. 

AAIP programs provide: 

  • Meetings featuring regional and national speakers

  • CE credits for meeting attendance

  • Fellowship (by providing a forum for social interaction)

Vision

The goal of Atlanta Academy of Institutional Pharmacy (AAIP) Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) activities is to assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in maintaining and enhancing their professional competencies by offering programming focused on newly published treatment guidelines and/or new therapeutic products for a minimum of 25% of programs offered.
