The next AAIP meeting will be on Thursday, May 25th, at Ansley Golf Club, 196 Montgomery Ferry Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.  Our exhibitor showcase will begin at 5:30 pm with dinner & CE presentation to follow.  This meeting will be held in-person and via Zoom.  See attachment for the full meeting announcement.

Attendance to this meeting and all AAIP meetings is restricted to members only.

There will be five presentations for the evening:

• "A retrospective comparison of warfarin versus direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) for treatment of intracardiac thrombus in hospitalized patients" presented by Madeline Shepherd, PharmD, Piedmont Atlanta Hospital

• "AFE? It's A-OK!:  A Review of Amniotic Fluid Embolism and Treatment" presented by Boomer Preston, PharmD, Northside Hospital
