The next AAIP meeting will be on Thursday, November 17th, at Maggiano’s 3368 Peachtree Rd., Atlanta, Ga 30326. Registration begins at 6:00 pm. This meeting will be held in-person and on Zoom. See attached for the meeting announcement.

Attendance to this meeting and all AAIP meetings is restricted to members only.

There will be two presentations for the evening:

·         “Effective Clinical Management of Adult Patients With Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP) Who Have Had an Insufficient Response to a Previous Treatment “  presented by Dr. Steven Fein, MPH, HEME ONC CALL, LLC. from Miami, Fl. This presentation is hosted by Stephanie Hicks of  Sobi Pharmaceuticals.  There is no CE for this presentation

·  "An Update on DIRECTing the Use of Direct Acting Oral Anticoagulants in Special Populations" will be presented by Dr. Chelsea Moran, PharmD, BCPS, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Piedmont Hospital Atlanta, One hour of CE will be provided for attending this presentation.
